Information about the SUMMER TERM 2019
Summer Term starts after the Easter holidays
There will be ELEVEN ‘active’ weeks in the Summer Term 2019 (for ‘active’ we mean the weeks when the usual music lessons are offered). The active weeks are divided in two segments, the first one of four weeks and the second half with seven weeks. In between both segments there is one half term holiday week where no regular lessons are offered (with the exception of special arrangements for home students, considered case by case).
The Summer Term starts on Monday 29th April 2019 and finishes on Sunday 21st July 2019.
In the month of May there is a Half-Term week, between Monday 27th May and Sunday 2nd June 2019. No activities are held on that week, except a catch up lesson if previously arranged (home students only)
After the Half-Term, activities come back to normal on Monday 3rd June and they will continue until the end of term. The last lesson of the Spring Term will be on Sunday 21st July (for our home students, if they have an appointment on weekends Sundays). Summer holidays start on Monday 22nd July 2019.
Bank Holidays and other special dates: Monday 6th May is a bank holiday in England, please contact us to confirm if it will affect our activities or not.
Special activities: the NEXT EXAM DATE, with an External Examiner, is scheduled for Sunday 12th May in the afternoon (precise time TBC, usually from 2 to 5 pm).
This is the list of ‘active weeks’, arranged according their starting date: 29th April, 6th May, 13th May, 20th May, 3rd June, 10th June, 17th June, 24th June, 1st July, 8th July, 15th July.
